Measurements after Op

I have never realised the importance of measurements until now. For the last few days my scales have not moved; not even by 100gms so I thought it was time to do some measurements again.

Here is a recap of my last measurements:

1st Measurements; 28/12/2016

  1. Weight: 119kgs
  2. Height: 164cms
  3. Chest: 128cms
  4. Waist: 114.5cms
  5. R. Arm: 42cms
  6. L. Arm: 43.5cms
  7. R. Leg: 77.5cms
  8. L. Leg: 78.5cms
  9. BMI = 44.2

2nd Measurements; 18/01/2017

  1. Weight: 122.3kgs (3kg gain)
  2. Chest: 122cms
  3. Waist: 109cms
  4. R. Arm: 41cms
  5. L. Arm: 42cms
  6. R. Leg: 75cms
  7. L. Leg: 76.5cm

Today is 19 days after my WLS operation and the 1st lot of measurements since the 18th January.

3rd Measurements; 19/02/2017

  1. Weight: 110kgs = 12.3kg loss
  2. Chest: 117cms = 11cm loss
  3. Waist: 104cms = 10.5cm loss
  4. R. Arm: 40cms = 2cm loss
  5. L. Arm: 41cms = 2.5cm loss
  6. R. Leg: 70cms = 7.5cm loss
  7. L. Leg: 69.5cms = 9.5cm loss

There may not be big numbers on some of my body parts but others it’s amazing. A loss is a loss after all.

Seeing this, even though the scales haven’t moved, prooves that this surgery is working for me. I am happy with this and whilst it will be a long journey, it will be worth while.

Thank you for following my journey to change. Will post again after my Surgeon and Dietitian appointments tomorrow.

Much love xxx
